Grey Marmara marble or Marmara Panda Silver marble is the selection of Equator Marmara marble with weighted grey background without stripes. Main character of it is the grey background with irregular stripe hares on it. It is very good example of grey marbles who decide to use grey marble in its exterior and interior applications. Because Marmara Marbles contain high ratio of sulfur minerals; they mostly applied the areas that need hygiene like hamams. In order to prevent bacteria reproduction in wet grounds; Marmara Marbles mostly used by Ottoman architects in many hamams and wet areas.
Marmara Grey marble or Marmara Silver marble, which is produced by reverse cutting of Marmara marble blocks and is preferred both in domestic and abroad projects. Two selections, white and gray, are obtained from Marmara marble blocks cut in cross cuts. It is preferred in many projects, mainly in the United States and Arab countries, is also known by different names from its domestic projects. The most well-known names in the international market are known as Gray Marmara, Bianco Striata, Bleu Striata or Grigio Striata. Our marble variety, which is generally preferred with polished surface treatment, can be produced as raw, sanded or aged according to customer demand. It is not only preferred in flooring and cladding applications but it also produced for split-face, mosaic, various ornaments, countertops, borders and washbasins.
