Wooden Onyx marble, one of the rare onyx varieties, takes the name from the structure similar to wood. Wooden Onyx, a kind of onyx that will be mostly evaluated on special projects, attracts a lot of attention in domestic and international projects. Wooden Onyx prices are competitive when compared to their onyx species and it has to be cut horizontally not to lose its tree like structure. Wooden Onyx quarries more commonly found in Turkey whereas similar onyx species can also be extracted from the countries where onyx quarries like Iran are concentrated. Wooden Onyx has middle level with light transmittance and thanks to its natural appearance, it is a kind of decorative onyx with its natural appearance without light. Wooden Onyx, which is usually produced as standard 2 cm polished slabs, can be produced and sold in special thicknesses according to customer wishes.
