Traonyx with varying proportions semi-travertine and semi-onyx structure, will be the ideal solution for designers and applicators seeking different solutions. Traonyx are from sedimentary rocks and because of the closer proximity of the travertine structure, the light transmission is low as compared to other onyx species. Because of its decorative appearance, it is generally preferred as wall covering material in large sizes by the designers. Traonyxies begin to be extracted from newly opened quarries in Turkey whereas main quarries of traonyx species are in Iran.
