Orange Onyx, one of the most rare onyx varieties in the world, are among the most expensive onyx varieties because of their low availability and their availability only from Iranian quarries. Cross-cut Orange Onyx marble slabs are more demanded by customers whereas vein-cut Orange Onyx slabs are also preferred and applied by architects and designers around world. Because of the high price of Orange Onyx slabs it is mostly used narrow space applications which are project based production are preferred. Small pieces not considered as slabs are purchased by the Far East and Chinese market to obtain ornamental items. Orange onyx blocks are are well formed onyx species and their light transmittance is high level. Due to the fact that the Orange Onyx light-free natural appearance is very unique; it is generally demanding in the applications of boutique projects.
