Thanks to its homogeneous structure and lightness, limestone is preferred as an exterior coating in many projects. The stationary natural appearance provides unity in application areas by providing integrity. Limestone Production, which is active in the Mediterranean region of Turkey; is made in factories and divided into selections. It is divided into sub-selections according to the density of the small movements on the slabs and the color tone of the stone.

The Sesame Limestone produced in the Finike Region is the most frequently selected export to the US and Arab countries. The homogeneous distribution of yellow pieces of sesame seeds on light cream base color is highly demanded because the first class is completely homogeneous. White Limestone can be seen in a lighter tone than the other varieties and a little whiter in the process of honing the surface. Selections that can work together with other limestone selections are also preferred as interior wall covering and flooring.

In exterior limestone coating applications; the use of limestone is also important because of the fact that the stone structure is clean as well as the density is low and so much less load is placed on the building than other types of marble. Another advantage of exterior use is heat insulation. The natural structure prevents the passage of very hot or cold air to the inside of the building. Such features make the selection more prominent than other natural stone varieties. Limestone prices are offered in a very convenient way compared to other types of stones. Due to the high production capacity and high demand, quality production continues.

Turkish Limestone Blocks

The limestone blocks, which are extracted from the quarries in Turkey, are differentiated according to the demand of the customers and send for exportation. The purchase of first quality blocks is done by marking in quarries and the direct shipment from harbour is made from the quarry. Turkey is the highest producer of the limestone block production in the world.

First class Turkish limestone blocks are exported to Turkic Republics and Arab countries. Our branded varieties become a serious export entry. Since the quarries can not work due to the winter conditions, there is a slowdown in block production in certain periods. Thanks to its hard structure, the use of crush-resistant selection on the exterior increases the long-term durability. For anchorage work 3 cm thickness is recommended. The recommended size in terms of price/performance ratio is 3x40x80 cm.

Iran Limestone Blocks

Many limestone quarries located in Iran have been working for many years and producing different selections. Iran, which meets the demand in its own domestic market, has started export operations abroad in recent years. Iran can produce limestone selections with different textures not available in Turkey. For our domestic market requirements, we can bring Iranian limestone on a project basis.

Exports of Iranian limestone blocks can be exported to many countries via the port of Bandar Abbas. It is advantageous in terms of price to cut by taking blocks in high quantity requirements. Because of the price advantage, Iran's selection is preferred due to its proximity to Arab countries. Since the characteristic structure of the Turkish and Iranian limestone is very close to each other, all the other features are similar to each other except for the appearance of some selections.
