The high hardness values often lead to their use in the outdoors. Hisar Yaylak granite or other known name Sivrihisar Yaylak granite is one of the most well-know granite varieties produced in Turkey. Hisar Yaylak granite is one of Turkey's most homogeneous granite varieties of with gray and greenish background. Because of its homogeneity, it is among the important stones of large space application projects. It is a kind of granite which reduces the application costs considerably due to the cheap price compared to the imported granite types. Because its cheap price and uniform structure, Hisar Yaylak granite is generally preferred in large areas and it is also used in the production of window sills, sculptures, mosaics in narrow space usage areas. It is used by appliers with polished surface treatment instead of burned or sanded production because of costs. It is mainly preferred for wall cladding and flooring areas and due to its convenient price it is used continuously in kitchen and bathroom bench areas. The granite variety used in the production of cube stone can be easily applied in areas where the hardness level is high and the traffic is heavy.
